“To build a great company by positively impacting the lives of our associates, our community, our customers and their patients” - The ImageFIRST Purpose

Written into our company’s DNA is care and compassion for everyone. Beyond the four walls of the medical facilities we serve, our associates go out of their way to help their fellow community members. At ImageFIRST Tennessee, we have an established record of making a difference in our region. This past September, one of our sister locations exemplified our company’s dedication to positively impacting our local communities.

Eight years ago, Cedar Rapids suffered the sixth worst natural disaster in U.S. history. The area was flooded by nearly 20 feet of water from the Cedar River, causing millions of dollars in property damage and harming over 4,000 homes, 1,300 of which were demolished.

Two months ago, the area was alerted to what would be the second largest crest of the Cedar River in history. With only a few days to prepare, ImageFIRST Cedar Rapids Service Manager, Mike Marion, came to the rescue. Using ImageFIRST trucks, Marion ventured into the community to help businesses rescue their properties and belongings.

On September 23rd, Marion and other ImageFIRST associates helped a medical facility located one block from the river load their belongings onto a truck and helped moved them to safety. With the help of those at the facility and volunteers, the task was completed in a few hours and thousands of dollars of equipment was saved. The following day, Marion took an ImageFIRST truck back out into the community. With 48 hours until the flooding began and evacuations taking place, Mike helped a local family-owned business, load and store their merchandise before it was destroyed. Thanks to Mike Marion and ImageFIRST associates dedicated to the ImageFIRST purpose, crisis was averted for those local businesses.
